Travellers have been welcomed here for nearly 200 years and that old-time warm, friendly atmosphere is apparent as soon as you walk through the front door. The Falcon is the premier hotel in the seaside town of Bude on the stunning North Cornwall coast. The Falcon Hotel offers holiday and business accommodation for the discerning visitor along with good food, drink and entertainment and offers the ideal base from which to explore all the attractions that Cornwall has to offer. Overlooking the Bude Canal, close to superb sandy beaches and with its beautiful walled gardens, the Falcon boasts one of the finest settings in Cornwall.

Accommodation

All rooms at the Falcon are en-suite and have been furnished to achieve a very high standard of comfort using co-ordinated fabrics and restful colour schemes. Relaxation is the prime key to enjoyment, and the hotel bedrooms will provide this at a price that reflects excellent value for money. All rooms have spacious modern bathrooms, iron and ironing board, trouser press, direct dial telephone, coffee and tea making facilities, guest controlled heating system, free wifi internet access and flat-screen televisions.

Dining

Guests staying at the Falcon are spoilt for choice when it comes to dining. The Falcon Inn with its informal atmosphere offers a wide variety of beers, wines, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks as well as meals served every lunchtime and evening. Tennyson’s Restaurant offers a more sophisticated dining experience with full waiter service in elegant surroundings. Our chefs specialise in using the freshest local produce including tender Cornish meats, fine seafood caught off this north Cornish coast and local award winning cheeses.

Gardens

Here at The Falcon we are very proud of our beautiful gardens. The walled gardens were completely landscaped in 1998 to commemorate the founding of the hotel. Carefully maintained to look their best all year round, with stylish terraces, arches and balconies, they offer an ideal place to relax in peaceful surroundings and the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos.

Weddings, Special Occasions & Events

Whether you are planning a small, intimate wedding, a grand occasion or a corporate business event, The Falcon Hotel offers a tailor-made package to suit your individual requirements.  Our choice of function suites can cater for up to 300 guests. The Acland Suite incorporates its own fully licensed bar, stage and dancefloor. The luxurious cloakrooms and computer controlled ‘scene’ lighting provide the ideal ambience required for your special occasion, celebration or corporate function.
