TERMS & CONDITIONS
CANCELLATION POLICY Unconfirmed bookings are held for five days but cannot be guaranteed after this period has expired. We reserve the right to charge the full tariff for any rooms cancelled after 2.00pm the previous day and for all non-arrivals.
ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES Rooms are available from 2pm on the day of arrival. Please vacate by 10.30am on the day of departure on weekdays and 11am on weekends. If you’re arriving after 9pm please inform reception. For any arrivals after 11pm. the Night Porter will be advised and will be able to book you into the hotel. On arrival, please ensure you are aware of all fire escape routes and the assembly point for the hotel.
PAYMENT Room cost to be settled on arrival, all other additions to be settled on departure. All major credit cards are accepted (except American Express and Diners Club).
LIABILITY OF THE GUEST Guests are liable for and shall indemnify the hotel for any acts or omissions by the guest (whether or not intentional) which results in damage to the hotel, including but not limited to , damage caused as a result of negligence, deliberate damage or recklessness (and the hotel will use its reasonable endeavours to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs in order to minimise any costs incurred by the guest.
The guest is liable for the cost of replacing any items which the guest removes from the premises without the hotels consent.
In the event that the hotel becomes aware of damage to property or loss of possessions after the guest has departed, the hotel reserves the right to make a charge to the guests credit/debit card, or send an invoice for the relevant amount to the guest which shall be payable within 14 days of the date of the invoice.
STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOUR Guest must adhere to policies and procedures implemented by the hotel, including but not limited to, health and safety and security policies.
Guests must not bring any illegal or hazardous substances into the hotel.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The management have the right to refuse to serve and/or require a guest to leave the premises when the hotel believes the guest to be behaving in an unacceptable manner. The hotel shall not be liable to pay any compensation or make any refund to a guest in these circumstances.
Should the guest accept the offer of the hotel to provide the services, the guest and the hotel shall be bound by these conditions of the mutual promises and undertakings which are contained within these conditions. Payment of any deposits in respect of the services and/or signature by the guest of the hotels registration card, shall constitute the guests unqualified acceptance of the service subject to these conditions.
SMOKING Smoking is not permitted within the hotel. Please don’t smoke in your bedroom – this will incur an extra night’s charge to cover the cost of cleaning and loss of room revenue.

Breakfast: Breakfast is served 7–9.30am weekdays and 8–10am on Saturday, Sunday & bank holidays.
Laundry Service: A 24-hour wash and dry laundry service is available Monday to Friday. This service is not available on Saturday or Sunday. You can find laundry bags in your bedroom wardrobe.
Newspapers: Order from reception on arrival and they’ll be placed outside your bedroom door between 8.00am and 8.15am. Newspapers will be charged to your room account for settlement on departure.
Parking: We have 15 car spaces at the front of the hotel and a shared car park with the Brendon Arms for up to 40 cars immediately across the road. There is also a large public car park within 100 metres. We cannot guarantee a parking space but we do have a disabled parking area and an unloading bay in front of the hotel entrance.
Hotel Lift: This gives easy access to the first and second floors, the first floor residents lounge, upper sun terrace, stunning hotel gardens and garden room.
SUPPLEMENTS & CHARGES
Extra Guests in Rooms: Room prices are based on 2 adults sharing, there is an extra £25 charge for each additional guest. Children five years and under are free of charge (when sharing a room with two adults). Cots and Z-beds are available at an additional charge.
Cot Hire: (linen Included) is available at £10.00 per day
Extra Bed: (Z-bed linen Included) is available at £10.00 per day
Dogs: We accept well behaved dogs at a rate of £15 per night, maximum of one dog per room. House rules apply and a copy will be sent on confirmation of booking. We reserve the right to charge for any damages.
Optional Extras: For that extra welcome and special touch we can provide a selection of optional extras at an additional charge, such as a bouquet of fresh flowers, prosecco or local champagne, a box of chocolates or Cornish fudge. Other options you can book include a late check out, your breakfast order brought to your room or a turn down service.
