From intimate ceremonies and wedding receptions with a small wedding party to the grand occasion of a champagne reception in our magnifcent walled gardens, followed by the wedding breakfast in our Acland Suite, concluding with a superb buffet and dance, the Falcon Hotel offers all the options for your perfect day.

The Acland Suite incorporates a fully licensed bar, stage and dance-floor, which along with luxurious cloakrooms, air conditioning and computer controlled 'scene' lighting provides a great atmosphere for your evening party, with ample room for a live band if you choose.

The finest local produce, superb ingredients and top quality wines go to make up our extensive menu range and an imaginitive selection of pre-wedding drinks, cocktails and champagne will make your celebration unforgettable.

If your guests are arriving early or perhaps staying for a few days after the wedding, you can be assured that they will enjoy the comfort and elegance of the Falcon Hotel. Tennyson's Restaurant and the Coachman's Bar both offer a superb menu using the freshest of local produce; ingredients such as tender Cornish lamb, fine seafood caught off this north Cornish coast and local award winning cheeses all prepared and presented in a modern English style. The wine list features many classic European wines and a fine and varied selection from the New World.

Your Civil Ceremony

The Garden Room, Residents' Lounge, Carriage Room and Acland Suite are all licensed for Civil Partnerships and Marriage

To arrange a Civil Partnership or Marriage Ceremony at the Falcon Hotel, you should contact our Wedding Co-ordinator and
provisionally reserve one of our suites that would be suitable for the number of guests attending. You must then arrange an appointment with the Registrar at the Register Office in Bude. They can be contacted by telephone on 01872 322007 between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday and between 9am and 4pm on Saturdays. For your guidance there are several requirements to be observed when booking a Civil Partnership or Marriage Ceremony.

• You must have two Registration Officers present at the ceremony. You are able to provisionally book them12 months in advance.
• The Superintendent Registrar will complete an advanced booking pro-forma confirming your details, your address and the venue.
• On making a provisional booking, the Superintendent Registrar will advise you of the date and to whom you should give legal notice of the ceremony.
• When you attend the Register Office to book your ceremony, you will be required to pay the attendance fee for the Registrars. You may also choose to
  pay in advance the fee for the certificate at this time.
• Only Civil, non-religious ceremonies can be permitted by the Superintendent Registrar. Any music, reading, words or performances
  that will form a part of the ceremony must be secular. The content therefore must be agreed in advance with the Superintendent Registrar attending the ceremony.
• It is your responsibility to ensure that all legal preliminaries are completed and that the Registration Officers are available to conduct your ceremony.
