The Coachman’s Bar

The Coachman’s Bar is integral with the Hotel and with it’s warm, cosy and informal atmosphere is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Here we serve a wide variety of beers, wines, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks. We particularly recommend the two local real ales. Meals are served every lunchtime and evening. To the front of the Coachman’s Bar there is a raised Beer Terrace with lovely views over the Bude Canal, the Inner Harbour area and across to Bude town centre. This is a great place to dine al fresco and with its colourful canopy, heaters and lights creates a magical continental atmosphere in the summer. We are justly proud of our menu and have created dishes to appeal to all tastes. Where possible all products have been sourced from local suppliers and with flair and imagination our Chefs have combined this fine local produce with the best of ideas of traditional and modern international cuisine to produce a menu that can only be described as extraordinary in its content and variety.

A different menu is available at Sunday lunchtime when we produce a choice of six starters, eight main courses (including freshly carved roasted meats, a vegetarian and a fresh fish dish along with a few of our most popular best sellers) and a selection of ten desserts. All items are individually priced and the same menu at the same price is also offered in Tennyson’s Restaurant. We revert to our normal menu again on the Sunday evening.
